Join us for unique events and workshops each month!
Fall is a time for us to tune into the cycles of nature, a time to be like the trees and let go of what no longer serves us and a time to appreciate all we have learned from what has passed. It is a time to pause and reflect on what we are grateful for, and to connect with the energy of the new season.
Please join us for an evening of relaxation with sound therapy and a simple art project led by Michelle Koster, certified sound healer, yoga/meditation instructor, and artist. The project does not require any artistic ability, just the willingness to turn inward and begin exploring your “underground” self, your dreams, and your intuitive powers. We will focus on releasing our internal “clutter” and generating the energy we need to feel vibrant, healthy and grow.
We will be using watercolors, so please bring apron or wear clothes that may appreciate some new decoration.
For your art inspiration, Michelle will be playing copper singing bowls accompanied by Beth with seven-chakra crystal singing bowls. Please bring your yoga mat and a blanket for the sound healing portion of the evening. A healthy, warm beverage will be served to accompany the program.
Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, 6:30-8:00 pm at the Parker Schoolhouse, 19650 E. Mainstreet, Parker, CO 80138.
Join us as we gather in a drumming circle led by Veronica Lightening Horse. Drumming Circles are known to create significant positive changes to physical, emotional, and mental wellness. When we drum together, we enjoy a deep connection to the earth and to each other. Research points to therapeutic drum circles as a powerful modality to help reduce stress and build a sense of community. Bring your own drum or percussion instrument or we can provide one. No drumming experience is needed. Come play and enjoy!
We will meet outside in the courtyard at the Parker Schoolhouse located at 19650 Mainstreet, Parker 80138
Did you know that your GUT influences every aspect of your health including your weight, hormone balance, energy, brain health and your ability to fight off diseases? Alterations in the gut, particularly the gut microbiome, can alter the brain, resulting in behavior and cognitive changes.
Join Mona Merrick, owner of Body Balance Coaching, Board Certified Health Coach, Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor and trained in Functional Nutrition as she teaches you why good health begins in the gut, what signs and symptoms to recognize if your gut is in trouble and how to eat and create a lifestyle for gut health.
We will also enjoy healthy food samples, recipes and free access to an online smoothie program!
The workshop will conclude with a gentle guided meditation and yoga relaxation session led by Beth Meier, founder of Beyond the Mat Yoga Collective.
All profits will be donated to Grassroots Farmers.
Thursday, August 17th, 6:30-8:00 pm

Meet us at Hidden Mesa Trail for an educational and inspiring workshop with Chantae, founder of Grassroots Farmers. Chantae will teach us how to prepare fertile soil to plant native seeds and food in your own backyard. We will take a short nature walk and Chantae will share the medicinal properties of the native plants along our walk. The walk will end near a brook where we will experience a guided meditation led by Beth.
Taking your practice into the natural world outside adds another dimension that an indoor meditation setting simply cannot provide. Nature has a way of commanding our attention and focus, compelling us to simplify our thoughts and gain a heightened sense of awareness. As we take in the natural environment, we start to notice the simple things around us: the breeze, the light, space, sounds and smells.
Each student will receive a gift bag with plant seeds to take home and enjoy.
Please wear appropriate clothing for an outdoor experience and bring your yoga mat or a small blanket for the seated meditation.
