YOGA IN THE PARK

Offered every Saturday from 9am-10:00 am starting May 31, 2025 through September 2025, weather permitting.

Join us for a Gentle Energy Flow at the beautiful Lakeshore Park in the Pinery in Parker. The Park is located at the corner of Lakeshore Drive & Thunderhill Rd, near Bingham Lake. We will be set up in the trees near the picnic tables.

Gentle yoga postures are woven and paired with Energy Medicine Yoga ® techniques to communicate with the body in its own language and innate wisdom. This practice will unify the traditional benefits of yoga including upleveling physical health and strength with Energy Medicine Yoga's beneficial properties of harmonizing energies for wellness and leave us resting in a state of quietude, easy meditation, aromatherapy and Spirit.

Pre-registration is required. Please bring your own yoga mat and props.

Introduction to Kundalini Yoga

In this introduction to Kundalini Yoga, you will explore foundational practices that awaken your inner energy and promote balance on physical, mental, and spiritual levels.

Through a dynamic kriya, essential breathwork (pranayama), mantra chanting, and powerful meditation, you’ll begin to strengthen the nervous system, elevate consciousness, and deepen inner awareness. These techniques are designed to clear emotional blocks, bring mental clarity, and cultivate lasting resilience and vitality.

To close the workshop, you will lie down in deep relaxation and immerse yourself in the soothing, healing vibrations of the gong—a powerful experience rooted in the sacred sound current of Naad Yoga.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, water and a blanket for comfort during the sound healing.

Class registration is $40 before July 19th, 2025. After July 19th the registration is $45.

Breathwork & Meditation

with Sabina Shrestha Pradhan

This calming session is designed to help release stress and anxiety through a holistic blend of gentle stretching, traditional pranayama, and guided meditation accompanied by the sound of the singing bowl. I will begin by opening the body with mindful movements to support more natural and deeper breathing. Traditional pranayama techniques will then be practiced to calm the nervous system, balance energy, and quiet the mind. The session concludes with a guided meditation, enhanced by the soothing vibrations of the singing bowl, to ease emotional tension, clear mental clutter, and restore a deep sense of peace and inner balance.

I look forward to guiding participants on a journey of stillness, breath, and inner awareness.

Guidelines for the session:

Eat two hours before the session. Wear comfortable clothing. If possible, bring a mat or a blanket to sit and lie down on for the session and a blanket to be warm.   Remember to bring water. EARLY BIRD PRICING $40 UNTIL MAY 17th

In this workshop we will be guided by PrabhuSukh Singh PhD through brief light stretching and then relax on our yoga mats. The sounds of the gong, which is that of Naad Yoga, will sooth the body and mind to help rebalance the nervous system, stimulate the glandular system, reduce stress, and clear subconscious mental blocks. In addition, the heavenly sounds of crystal singing bowls will impart relaxing and restorative healing. These divine sounds will promote healing from pain, stress, or general symptoms of anxiety. The goal of this workshop is to promote total body peace and relaxation through deep healing.

Please bring your yoga mat, a blanket, and a small pillow to make yourself comfortable.
